SHOW YOURSELF 😎

This is a fun way for reviewing vocab and much more. Make a list of words or  expressions that you’ve taught recently. For each word that you choose, you show  a card with “M, S, D” letters on. M stands for MIME, S for SPEAK and D for DRAW. Explain the game to the students. Divide them in two groups. A student from each group comes forward, you show the card and they mime, draw or speak and give the correct information to the other members of the group so that they can guess the word. You keep the score. You can use the activity for any levels and can adapt to grammar practice, too.

  1. That seems to be a very nice vocabulary game and it is funny too. Once you practise it for a while, you will enjoy it. Recommended for all stages of learning.

  2. Learners of English as a second language are supposed to enrich their vocabulary bank to help them chat better and write better. Remember the best thing to learn new words is to learn them through context. Use the new words in sentences of your own. Thus, your English will be better. This also applies to all other languages as well.
